Hungry Bug — Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are between

These Terms of Service govern your use of hungrybug.store and any purchase you make through it. The site is operated by Wira Group AB, trading as Hungry Bug, registered at Torshamnsgatan 27, Kista, Sweden (add your postal code — e.g. 164 40 — before publishing) ("we", "us", "Hungry Bug"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your country, and able to enter a legally binding contract to buy from us.

2. Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe and photograph products accurately, but colors, dimensions, and packaging may vary slightly from what's shown, since items are sourced from our fulfillment partners. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or description error at any time, including after an order is placed, and to cancel and refund an order affected by such an error.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in the currency for your selected market and may change without notice — the price at checkout is the price you pay. Depending on your country, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or handling fees charged separately from us (for example, at the border) which are your responsibility unless we've explicitly stated the price is duty-paid. Payment is processed through our third-party payment providers; we don't store your full card details.

4. Order acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale. We may refuse or cancel any order — for example if we suspect fraud, if an item is unexpectedly out of stock, or if there's a pricing error — and if we do, you'll be refunded in full for anything already charged.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Because items ship internationally, delays can happen due to customs processing, weather, or carrier issues outside our control. See our Shipping Policy for current estimated delivery windows by country.

7. Product use and safety

Our products are designed to reduce mosquito and pest exposure and are intended to be used according to the instructions included with them. They are not a guarantee against insect bites, mosquito-borne illness, or any other disease, and are not a substitute for professional pest control, medical advice, or public health guidance. If you're in an area with a known disease outbreak, please also follow guidance from your local health authority. Electrical products should be used in line with their included safety instructions; stop use immediately and contact us if a product appears damaged or faulty.

8. Intellectual property

The Hungry Bug name, logo, and original site content belong to us and may not be copied or used without permission. Some product images and descriptions are supplied by our fulfillment partners and may also be used by other retailers selling the same items.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to defraud us or other customers, interfering with the site's normal operation, or scraping content without permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't legally be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights under UK or Malaysian law, which apply regardless of this section.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country you're ordering from — including your rights under UK or Malaysian consumer law, which continue to apply and can't be overridden by this clause.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
